About the PDF Crop Tool
PDF Crop Tool trims unwanted margins, headers, footers or page numbers from a PDF without rasterising the content. You enter the number of points to remove from each side — 1 inch is 72 pt — and the tool sets each page's CropBox so anything outside that rectangle is hidden. Apply the crop to all pages or restrict it to a range like 3-12, 20. Because the underlying content stream is untouched, text remains fully selectable and the file size stays small. Ideal for tightening up scanned reports, removing recurring page numbers, or cropping screenshots embedded in technical documentation.
How to use
- Upload the PDF that has unwanted margins.
- Enter the number of points to trim from the Left, Right, Top and Bottom.
- Optionally enter a page range (e.g.
1, 3-5) — leave blank to crop every page. - Click Crop & download and save the cleaner PDF.

Pro tip
